Summer is Funner
There are a few trends this season that I am loving. The braids and fedora I have already gotten a chance to rock at the lake. Now just ready for some NEON statement pieces and a bright and breezy maxi! What are you looking forward to wearing this summer?

Meet Me in the Dugout
Baseball is America's pastime. Something about the sights, sounds, tasty treats and men in tight pinstripes has us excited to root for the home team! The best part about the games these days is dressing for them. So many popular chains, like Victoria's Secret and Old Navy, have MLB clothing lines for women that could not be cuter (or sexier!)
Nothing like pigtails under a baseball hat, denim cutoffs and a cool vintage tee to get you in the mood for a day at the park. But who am I kidding, do you really need an excuse to drink a couple beers and soak up some sun with your man, at a Sunday afternoon game in May? Heaven on earth...Play ball, ladies!

Polka to the Dot
There are a few items in my closet that remind me spring has sprung. A yellow skirt that ties with a bow, a pair of off white strappy wedges, a sweetly feminine floral dress and of course POLKA DOTS! Spring is here my friends, so soak it in! Polka to your own Dot!

Running Shoes
Couldn't believe the shoes I found at Payless. I own a pair of the Reebok RealFlex and I love them but when I purchased them the price tag was around $95.
I don't normally trust off-brand athletic shoes because they usually look something like this...
But the Payless version looks just as cute as the reeboks, and don't look like you need orthopedic support for one leg that is shorter than the other! I'll let you know if they perform as well as the real deal!

I'm dreaming of a Plaid Christmas...
I'm used to plaid being everywhere this time of year, but I'm having a hard time finding plaid anywhere other than J.Crew. Don't get me wrong, I love Jcrew but I can't quite afford that right now because I spent all my money on booze and strippers. Hah, JK this isn't Real Housewives of Atlanta.
I would rather not spend more than $50 on something that will get plaid-out so quickly! Two years ago I found the perfect ruffled plaid shirt in green at WALMART of all places for 11 bucks.
What the heck happened to it?? It must have gone to the island of unwanted plaid shirts. Or maybe I just mis-plaidced it. Eh, I tried with that joke, may not have worked, so sue me.
Time for a plaid Splurge or Steal edition...
Currently drooling over the Burberry jacket (yes, at my desk with a bib on) but that red blazer is not a bad alternative for a Christmas party. Pair it with a sparkly skirt and white button up underneath?
Splurge vs. Steal Plaid Button Up for a Christmas party...
Never thought I would see the day a Ralph Lauren button up was the steal! But what a great price for a regularly $99 top! I want to recreate this look from the blog Late Afternoon...
