I say forever 25 because my birthday is less than a week away and I'd prefer to just stay at 25 rather than moving to 26. Capeesh?

Chic for Cheap
I'm totally in love with basic dresses this holiday season. When the dress is only 20 bucks, spend that extra money to make it unique by accessorizing!
PS... I bought the maroon dress with the bow and the high low dress in blue!

Holiday Sparkle and Shine on the Cheap!
I shop at the same stores over and over again (forever, H&M, Tj Maxx) and it always seems that they carry so many great sparkly dresses, then I pick them up and they are skin tight and would show a ton of booty. Not something I feel comfortable wearing, ever. I was killing time yesterday before a spa appointment in Northpark mall in Dallas, Tx... and I popped into Charlotte Russe which had sparkles in the window display that caught my eye and I figured, eh, I'll check it out! What I found were amazing party dresses for the holiday season that were FIT AND FLARE!!
In case we haven't met, I live in fit and flare. Everyday.
Pretty much all of these dresses were $29.99 but I just found out that they are having a buy one get one 50% off sale that started today... sorry for me, I was in there yesterday :(

They didn't have the dress I bought on the website... but here is my goober smiley pic from the dressing room. Yes, thank you, my holiday socks are awesome.

Floppy Hat: Splurge or Save
While shopping at Kate Spade last weekend at North Park Mall in Dallas, I found this FAB Kate Spade hat for $128. It looked so so cute, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend $100 on a hat, but now I can't stop thinking about going back and grabbing it. Which do you think is cuter, this Gap find for only $30 or should I just go with my gut and get the Kate Spade beauty?
Here is some inspiration on where/when/with what I should wear my new hat!

Did Not Buyers Remorse
I went shopping last friday with my friend Lisa. She convinced me NOT to buy these fabulous boots I found at target because I wouldn't wear them very often. I may not wear them very often that is correct, but I like to think of shoes like art. They decorate my closet and look so pretty. I could just stare at them all day. I may go back this weekend and grab them so I can stare at them lovingly in my closet forever!

"Excuse Me Sir, Where Are Your Nuts Located?"
Peak my Pinterest: volume 2. This round went much better than the drug addict snowmen. I decided to tackle the Hex Nut Bracelet from Honestly WTF.
I started by trying to track down the right materials (obvi). Finding the rope was no problem. I chose two different kinds of rope to experiment with: one suede, one leather.
Here is where it gets tricky. Unlike all the other people I read who did this project, I didn't just have NUTS laying around the house in an abandoned tool box. I went into Lowe's and walked around for 20 minutes unable to find the "nuts" section. I just was praying I would stumble upon the nuts and not have to ask the Lowe's man, "Excuse me, where are your nuts located." And VOILA I found the nuts... one problem though, I couldn't find any BRASS nuts.. grrr.
Then the Lowe's man comes up and says, "Can I help you with something?" and without thinking I blurt out, "Uh yeah, I can't find your brass nuts." GAH!
ANYWAYSSS... I grabbed my nuts and ran outta there!
PROJECT TIME!
had to tape down the rope, AND YES I bought new tape for the occasion!
You need about 18-20 nuts. Braid your rope for about an inch.
Then you will start braiding your nuts into the rope.
Then continue braiding another inch down and tie off the rope.
